All About Pets

At 10 Thread Embroidery, we are animal lovers and delight in all creatures great and small.  Over the years we’ve made a home for a myriad of gorgeous creatures from guinea pigs, goldfish, to axolotls, chickens, ducks, quails, horses and even cattle.  To us life would be incomplete without pets, and we have a real soft spot for stray cats and dogs.  We adopted Luke and Lulu over five years ago and they are much loved family members.

We personally understand the special place that a pet holds in the heart of its person and take great delight in creating pet paw-traits which are available in three main styles – raw edge applique with embroidery, outline embroidery and fill embroidery.

A pet portrait makes the purrfect gift for birthdays or special occasion and also make beautiful mementos and keepsakes when a beloved pet has passed.

We can stitch your pet’s portrait in several ways: onto fabric and framed; added to quilt blocks; as an art quilt; as a wall hanging; as a cushion cover; or, “Other” – just tell us what you would like and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
